- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and sugar in a large bowl.
- In a separate bowl, combine milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Fold apples into the wet mixture, then combine with the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Drop 3-4 tablespoons of batter onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing each by 2 inches.

- Prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth, then drizzle over cooled fritters.
