  • 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup finely diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced zucchini
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce for topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a spacious bowl, mix together the ground turkey, seasoned breadcrumbs, mozzarella cheese, diced onion, zucchini, minced garlic, chicken broth, egg, soy sauce, thyme, sea salt, and black pepper until thoroughly blended.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased baking dish.
  4. Generously coat the top with barbecue sauce.
  5. Bake for approximately 50-60 minutes, or until the center reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  6. Allow the loaf to cool for about 10 minutes before slicing into portions.
