For the Filling
  • 14 ounces Lil’ Smokies
For the Cheese Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons All-Purpose Flour or gluten-free option
  • 1 cup Milk or non-dairy milk
  • 2 tablespoons Whole Grain Mustard or yellow mustard
  • 1 cup White Cheddar Cheese or other cheese
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and brush a springform pan with melted unsalted butter.
  2. Roll out your pizza dough to about 1/8 inch thick and cut into 1.5” by 2” rectangles.
  3. Wrap each lil’ smokie in the dough and pinch seams to secure.
  4. Arrange wrapped smokies vertically in the greased springform pan.
  5. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan.
  8. In a pot, melt butter, whisk in flour, gradually add milk, then stir in mustard and cheese until creamy.
