  • 2 cups fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup agave syrup adjust to taste
  • 1 cup tequila
  • 1/2 cup orange liqueur like Triple Sec or Cointreau
  • Ice
  • Lime wedges and extra blueberries for garnish

Method
 

  1. In a blender, combine the pineapple chunks, blueberries, lime juice, and agave syrup. Blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove any pulp.
  3. Add the tequila and orange liqueur to the pitcher and stir well to combine.
  4. Fill glasses with ice and pour the margarita mixture over the ice.
  5. Garnish each glass with a lime wedge and a few blueberries. Serve immediately.
