For the Burger Patties
  • 1 pound Ground Beef or Turkey Main protein source.
  • 1 small Onion Finely chopped.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 large Egg Binds the mixture.
Spices & Flavor Enhancers
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika Regular paprika works too.
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce Can substitute with soy sauce.
Optional Toppings
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Dairy-free alternative recommended.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the cabbage into ½ inch thick rounds and brush with olive oil.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef or turkey with chopped onion, minced garlic, and spices. Add the egg and mix well.
  4. Shape the meat mixture into patties that fit on the cabbage rounds.
  5. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 25 minutes.
  6. If using, add shredded cheese and broil for 3-5 minutes until melted and golden.
  7. Remove from the oven, cool briefly, and serve warm.
