Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mix the flour, cocoa powder, Dutch cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Combine sugar, pumpkin puree, water, oil, and vanilla extract in another bowl until smooth.
  4. Fold the wet mixture into the dry ingredients until no dry flour remains, optionally adding chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into the loaf pan, smoothing the top.
  6. Bake for approximately 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
  7. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
