Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Bloom the yeast by warming the whole milk and combining it with active dry yeast and sugar. Let it sit for 10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Mix dry ingredients including flour, chai spices, and salt in a stand mixer bowl. Create a well in the center.
  3. Combine the bloomed yeast mixture, eggs, softened butter, and vanilla extract into the dry ingredients. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  4. Allow the dough to rise in a greased bowl covered with a cloth for 1 to 1.5 hours.
  5. Prepare the chai caramel sauce by heating cream, steeping chai tea bags, and mixing in brown sugar and spices.
  6. Prepare the chai filling by mixing softened butter, brown sugar, and chai spices.
  7. Shape the rolls by rolling the dough into a rectangle, spreading the filling, rolling it up, and slicing.
  8. Let the rolls rise in the baking dish for 1 hour.
  9. Preheat oven to 350°F and bake the rolls for 29-32 minutes.
  10. Make the frosting by mixing cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until creamy.
