- Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until evenly moistened. Press into the bottom of a springform pan. Chill for 10-15 minutes.
- Beat cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Gradually add sugar, beat well, then mix in eggs one at a time.
- Add eggnog, vanilla extract, and nutmeg. Mix on low speed until creamy and well combined.
- If desired, fold in additional ingredients like white chocolate or crushed candy canes.
- Pour filling over chilled crust. Bake at 325°F for 45-50 minutes until outer edges are set and center is slightly jiggly.
- Cool at room temperature for an hour, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form and spread on top of cheesecake. Sprinkle with nutmeg, cinnamon or candy canes.
- Remove sides of the springform pan, slice, and serve chilled.
