Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef 80/20 blend
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 hamburger buns
  • Lettuce tomato, pickles, and any other desired toppings

Method

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ranch dressing mix, onion soup mix, shredded cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined; do not overmix.
  2. Form the mixture into 8 equal patties, about 1/2 inch thick. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up while cooking.
  3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  4. While the burgers are cooking, mix together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl to create a special sauce.
  5. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
  6. Assemble the burgers by spreading the special sauce on the bottom bun, adding the cooked patty, and topping with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and any other desired toppings. Place the top bun on and serve immediately.
