Step-by-Step Instructions
- Brown the Butter: In a medium saucepan, melt ½ cup of salted butter over medium heat. Stir continuously for about 5–7 minutes until the butter turns a rich golden brown and develops a nutty aroma.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the browned butter, 1 cup of granulated sugar, 2 large eggs, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Whisk together until smooth.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, ½ teaspoon of baking soda, ½ teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
- Integrate Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with ¾ cup of Greek yogurt. Stir gently to combine.
- Prepare Apples: Fold in 2 cups of diced apples, ensuring even distribution without mushing them.
- Swirl Cinnamon: Combine 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon in a small bowl. Pour half the batter into a greased loaf pan, sprinkle cinnamon sugar over it, then add the remaining batter. Swirl gently.
- Bake the Loaf: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool and Glaze: Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for about 10–15 minutes before transferring it. Prepare maple glaze and drizzle generously over the cool loaf.

Notes
Allow the loaf to cool completely before glazing for better consistency. Store in an airtight container to keep it moist.
