Description

A rich and decadent Triple Chocolate Cheesecake with a crunchy Oreo crust, perfect for chocolate lovers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups Oreo cookie crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, melted and slightly cooled
  • 4 ounces milk chocolate, melted and slightly cooled
  • 4 ounces white chocolate, melted and slightly cooled

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine Oreo cookie crumbs and melted butter. Mix until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Gradually add the granulated sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Stir in the sour cream until smooth.
  7. Divide the cream cheese mixture into three separate bowls. In the first bowl, mix in the melted semi-sweet chocolate. In the second bowl, mix in the melted milk chocolate. In the third bowl, mix in the melted white chocolate.
  8. Pour the semi-sweet chocolate layer over the cooled Oreo crust, spreading it evenly. Follow with the milk chocolate layer, and then the white chocolate layer, spreading each layer evenly.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 55-60 minutes, or until the center is set but slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven and crack the oven door, allowing the cheesecake to cool in the oven for 1 hour.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add a tablespoon of espresso powder to the cream cheese mixture before dividing it into bowls.
  • Top the cheesecake with whipped cream and chocolate shavings for an extra touch before serving.
