A delicious and savory cast iron ribeye steak infused with herbs and grilled to perfection.
Ingredients

- 2 ribeye steaks (approximately 1 inch thick, 12–16 ounces each)
- 2 tablespoons avocado oil
- 2 teaspoons sea salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 sprigs fresh thyme or oregano
- 2 tablespoons ghee
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to a high temperature.
- Pat the ribeye steaks dry and season both sides with sea salt and black pepper.
- Drizzle avocado oil over the steaks and rub it in for an even coating.
- Place the steaks on the hot grill and sear undisturbed for about 5-6 minutes.
- Turn the steaks over, sprinkle with minced garlic and fresh herbs, and add ghee to the grill.
- Continue grilling for an additional 5-6 minutes for medium-rare, adjusting time for desired doneness.
- Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For an extra kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the seasoning mix.
- Pair with a quinoa salad or grilled asparagus for a complete meal.
