Description
Refreshing Raspberry Lemonade is a delightful and tangy summer drink made with fresh raspberries and lemon juice, perfect for cooling down on a hot day.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups fresh raspberries
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices and fresh raspberries for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the fresh raspberries and 1 cup of cold water. Blend until smooth.
- Strain the raspberry mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove the seeds, pressing down with a spatula to extract as much juice as possible.
- Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and granulated sugar to the pitcher. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Pour in the remaining 3 cups of cold water and mix well. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if desired.
- Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
- Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and fresh raspberries if desired.
Notes
- For a sparkling twist, substitute half of the cold water with club soda.
- For a herbal note, add a few sprigs of fresh mint to the pitcher before chilling.
