Description

Refreshing Raspberry Lemonade is a delightful and tangy summer drink made with fresh raspberries and lemon juice, perfect for cooling down on a hot day.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices and fresh raspberries for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the fresh raspberries and 1 cup of cold water. Blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the raspberry mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove the seeds, pressing down with a spatula to extract as much juice as possible.
  3. Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and granulated sugar to the pitcher. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  4. Pour in the remaining 3 cups of cold water and mix well. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if desired.
  5. Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
  6. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and fresh raspberries if desired.

Notes

  • For a sparkling twist, substitute half of the cold water with club soda.
  • For a herbal note, add a few sprigs of fresh mint to the pitcher before chilling.
