Description

A refreshing and delicious raspberry lemonade perfect for quenching your thirst on a hot day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 46 lemons)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices and fresh raspberries for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the fresh raspberries and 1 cup of cold water. Blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the raspberry mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove the seeds. Use a spatula to press down and extract as much liquid as possible.
  3. Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and granulated sugar to the raspberry juice in the pitcher. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  4. Pour in the remaining 3 cups of cold water and mix until combined.
  5. Taste the lemonade and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if desired.
  6. Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  7. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and fresh raspberries if desired.

Notes

  • For a sparkling twist, replace some of the cold water with club soda or sparkling water.
  • Add a few mint leaves to the pitcher for a refreshing herbal flavor.
