- 2 cups vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks (or canned, drained)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon shredded coconut (optional, for garnish)
- Maraschino cherries (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the vanilla ice cream, coconut milk, pineapple chunks, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- If you prefer a thicker milkshake, add more ice cream; for a thinner consistency, add more coconut milk.
- Once blended, taste and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding a little sugar or honey.
- Pour the milkshake into tall glasses.
- If desired, sprinkle shredded coconut on top and add a maraschino cherry for garnish.
- Serve immediately with a straw or a spoon.
Notes
- For a tropical twist, try adding a splash of rum extract for a non-alcoholic piña colada flavor.
- You can also substitute the fresh pineapple with mango for a different fruity taste.
