Description
A refreshing summer cocktail made with fresh pineapple and blueberries, perfect for warm days.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups fresh pineapple chunks
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 1/4 cup agave syrup (adjust to taste)
- 1 cup tequila
- 1/2 cup orange liqueur (like Triple Sec or Cointreau)
- Ice
- Lime wedges and extra blueberries for garnish
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the pineapple chunks, blueberries, lime juice, and agave syrup. Blend until smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove any pulp.
- Add the tequila and orange liqueur to the pitcher and stir well to combine.
- Fill glasses with ice and pour the margarita mixture over the ice.
- Garnish each glass with a lime wedge and a few blueberries. Serve immediately.
Notes
- For a frozen version, blend the margarita mixture with ice until smooth and serve in chilled glasses.
- Substitute the tequila with vodka for a different flavor profile, or use coconut rum for a tropical twist.
