- 8 ounces rotini pasta
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 8 ounces fresh mozzarella balls, halved
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 1/2 cup pesto sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Balsamic glaze for drizzling
Instructions
- Cook the rotini pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, and chopped basil.
- Add the pesto sauce and olive oil to the bowl, tossing everything together until well coated.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- If desired, drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
- Chill the pasta salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
