Description
A refreshing peach lemonade recipe perfect for hot days, combining the sweetness of peaches with the tartness of lemons.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 cups water
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the sliced peaches and 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove the pulp, pressing down with a spoon to extract as much juice as possible.
- Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and granulated sugar to the peach juice in the pitcher. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Pour in the remaining 3 cups of water and mix until combined. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if desired.
- Chill the peach lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
- Serve over ice cubes and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
Notes
- For a sparkling version, substitute half of the water with sparkling water just before serving.
- Add a splash of vodka or rum for an adult twist on this refreshing drink.
