- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (approximately 1 pound total)
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the chicken breasts dry using paper towels and place them in a shallow baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, thyme, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir in lemon juice if desired.
- Generously coat both sides of the chicken breasts with the herb-infused mixture.
- Transfer the baking dish to the oven and bake for about 25 to 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
