Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup goat cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a pot of boiling salted water, cook the fusilli pasta until it reaches a firm texture, then drain and cool it under cold running water.
  2. In a spacious mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta with grape tomatoes, bell pepper, green onion, black olives, goat cheese, and fresh basil.
  3. In a separate bowl, blend the extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, dried basil, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
  4. Drizzle the dressing over the pasta mixture and gently fold everything together to ensure even coating.
