Description

A refreshing and tropical Mango Lemonade perfect for summer.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 46 lemons)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices and mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the diced mangoes and 1 cup of cold water. Blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the mango puree through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove any pulp.
  3. Add the fresh lemon juice and sugar to the mango puree in the pitcher. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  4. Pour in the remaining 3 cups of cold water and mix thoroughly.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if desired.
  6. Chill the mango lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  7. Serve over ice cubes and garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves.

Notes

  • For a tropical twist, add a splash of coconut water or mix in some fresh berries for added flavor.
  • You can also substitute agave syrup or honey for sugar for a different sweetness profile.
