Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 medium cucumber, grated and drained
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Rub the spice mixture evenly over the chicken tenders.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken and toss to coat.
  5. Grill or cook the chicken tenders for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  6. While the chicken is cooking, prepare the tzatziki sauce. In a separate bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, dill, lemon juice, and minced garlic. Mix well and season with salt to taste.
  7. Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the heat and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
  8. Serve the chicken tenders with a generous side of tzatziki sauce for dipping.

  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the spice mix.
