- 1 pound chicken tenders
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 medium cucumber, grated and drained
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture evenly over the chicken tenders.
- Drizzle olive oil over the chicken and toss to coat.
- Grill or cook the chicken tenders for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
- While the chicken is cooking, prepare the tzatziki sauce. In a separate bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, dill, lemon juice, and minced garlic. Mix well and season with salt to taste.
- Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the heat and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve the chicken tenders with a generous side of tzatziki sauce for dipping.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the spice mix.
- Serve the chicken tenders in pita bread with fresh veggies and tzatziki for a delicious wrap.
