Description

A traditional Full English Breakfast featuring a hearty combination of bacon, sausage, eggs, black pudding, tomatoes, baked beans, and toast.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces bacon, sliced
  • 8 ounces sausage links
  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 slices of black pudding (optional)
  • 2 medium tomatoes, halved
  • 1 can (15 ounces) baked beans
  • 4 slices of bread (white or whole grain)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pan.
  2. In the same skillet, add the sausage links and cook until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes. Remove and set aside with the bacon.
  3. If using black pudding, add the slices to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, place the halved tomatoes cut-side down and cook for about 3-4 minutes until they are slightly charred. Remove and set aside.
  5. In a small pot, heat the baked beans over low heat until warmed through.
  6. In another skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the slices of bread and toast until golden brown on both sides.
  7. To serve, place a portion of bacon, sausage, black pudding, tomatoes, and baked beans on each plate. Add two eggs cooked to your preference (fried, scrambled, or poached) and a slice of toast. Garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, substitute the bacon and sausage with plant-based alternatives and skip the black pudding.
