Ingredients
Scale
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- Powdered sugar, for serving
- Fresh lemon wedges, for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Place a 9×13-inch baking dish in the oven to heat up.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, flour, salt, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
- Carefully remove the hot baking dish from the oven and add the butter, allowing it to melt and coat the bottom of the dish.
- Pour the batter into the melted butter in the baking dish.
- Return the baking dish to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pancake is puffed and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing.
- Dust with powdered sugar and serve with fresh lemon wedges, if desired.
Notes
- For a sweeter twist, add 1 tablespoon of sugar to the batter.
- You can also top the pancake with fresh berries, maple syrup, or whipped cream for added flavor.
- If you prefer a savory option, try adding cooked bacon or sautéed vegetables to the batter before baking.
