Description

A refreshing and fruity drink made with fresh strawberries and soda, perfect for hot days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup club soda
  • 1/2 cup lemon-lime soda
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the sliced strawberries and granulated sugar. Toss gently to coat the strawberries in sugar and let them sit for about 10-15 minutes until they release their juices.
  2. Using a fork or a muddler, mash the strawberries slightly to create a chunky puree.
  3. In a large glass or pitcher, combine the strawberry mixture, club soda, lemon-lime soda, and fresh lime juice. Stir gently to mix.
  4. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the strawberry soda mixture over the ice.
  5. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a sparkling twist, try adding a splash of flavored sparkling water instead of club soda.
  • You can also substitute the strawberries with other berries like raspberries or blueberries for a different flavor profile.
