Description
A simple and delicious recipe for crispy air fryer salt and pepper wings that are perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds chicken wings, thawed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil until evenly coated.
- In a separate small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using).
- Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the wings and toss until they are well coated.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded. You may need to cook in batches.
- Cook the wings for 25-30 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. The wings should be golden brown and crispy.
- Once cooked, remove the wings from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, pat the wings dry with paper towels before tossing them in oil and seasoning.
- Experiment with different seasonings like lemon pepper or BBQ rub for a unique flavor twist.
