- 2 cups cooked rotini pasta
- 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
- 1 cup broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup diced tomatoes (canned or fresh)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (if using breadcrumbs)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rotini pasta, shredded chicken, broccoli, diced tomatoes, cheddar cheese, cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Stir until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- If using breadcrumbs, mix them with olive oil in a small bowl, then sprinkle the mixture evenly over the casserole.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
- Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a healthier version, substitute whole wheat pasta and low-fat cheese.
- Add different vegetables like bell peppers or spinach for extra nutrition and flavor.
