- 3 cups cooked rotisserie chicken, shredded
- 1 cup cooked ham, diced
- 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, diced ham, and Swiss cheese. Mix well and spread evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the chicken and ham mixture in the baking dish.
- Sprinkle the breadcrumbs evenly on top of the casserole.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is set.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
- For a crispy topping, broil the casserole for an additional 2-3 minutes after baking.
- Substitute the Swiss cheese with cheddar or mozzarella for a different flavor profile.
