Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare a 9×13 inch baking pan by greasing and dusting it with flour.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan.
- Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl and mix in the chocolate frosting until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Insert lollipop sticks into each ball and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Melt the chocolate chips with the tablespoon of vegetable oil in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals until smooth.
- Dip each cake pop into the melted chocolate, letting excess chocolate drip off, then place back on the parchment-lined sheet.
- Allow the cake pops to set at room temperature or refrigerate until the chocolate coating is firm.
