Description
Crispy and flavorful Buffalo Chicken Tenders, perfect for a delicious appetizer or main dish.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound chicken tenders
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)
- 1 cup buffalo sauce
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- Celery sticks and ranch or blue cheese dressing for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs until well combined.
- In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
- Dip each chicken tender first into the seasoned flour, shaking off any excess. Then, dip it into the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- Arrange the breaded chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- While the chicken is baking, mix the buffalo sauce and melted butter in a large bowl.
- Once the chicken tenders are done, transfer them to the bowl with the buffalo sauce and toss to coat evenly.
- Serve hot with celery sticks and your choice of ranch or blue cheese dressing.
Notes
- For extra flavor, try marinating the chicken tenders in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes before breading.
- For a healthier option, you can air fry the chicken tenders at 375°F for about 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and cooked through.
