Description

Crispy and flavorful Buffalo Chicken Tenders, perfect for a delicious appetizer or main dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • Celery sticks and ranch or blue cheese dressing for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs until well combined.
  4. In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
  5. Dip each chicken tender first into the seasoned flour, shaking off any excess. Then, dip it into the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
  6. Arrange the breaded chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  7. While the chicken is baking, mix the buffalo sauce and melted butter in a large bowl.
  8. Once the chicken tenders are done, transfer them to the bowl with the buffalo sauce and toss to coat evenly.
  9. Serve hot with celery sticks and your choice of ranch or blue cheese dressing.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, try marinating the chicken tenders in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes before breading.
  • For a healthier option, you can air fry the chicken tenders at 375°F for about 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and cooked through.
