Description

Bang Bang Chicken Skewers are a flavorful and easy-to-make dish featuring marinated chicken grilled to perfection and served with a spicy dipping sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden or metal skewers (if using wooden, soak in water for 30 minutes)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, lime juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until smooth. Reserve half of the sauce for serving later.
  3. Thread the chicken cubes onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking. Brush the skewers with some of the remaining sauce.
  4. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  5. Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve with the reserved sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • For added flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce for 30 minutes to 2 hours before grilling.
  • You can also substitute chicken with shrimp or tofu for a different protein option.
  • For a fresh twist, serve with a side of cucumber salad or over a bed of lettuce.
