- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 pound total)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup barbecue sauce (your favorite brand)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
- While the air fryer is heating, pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Rub the olive oil over the chicken breasts, then evenly coat them with the spice mixture.
- Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10 minutes, then flip the chicken breasts over and brush them with half of the barbecue sauce.
- Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Brush the remaining barbecue sauce over the chicken before slicing and serving.

- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the spice mixture and olive oil for 30 minutes before cooking.
